Hot Spots; Beaches and Inlets:



Sailfish Point: Located at the South end of Hutchinson Island, the area of Sailfish Point is a great spot for catching some fish. Sailfish point offers fishing both from the beach, and the North inlet. While many species can be caught from these locations, the area is known for it's Snook, Tarpon and Mangrove Snapper bite between the months of April and October, with July and September being the best months for chasing Snook.

Saint Lucie State Park: Located at the South Side of the Saint Lucie Inlet, the Saint Lucie State Park offers some great fishing from both the beach side and the inlet side. Some of the bites that are hot in the area, include the Pompano and Bluefish bite early in the year (January through April), as well as a good Snook bite between the months of May and October.

Hutchinson Island: Located between the Fort Pierce Inlet and the Saint Lucie Inlet, Hutchinson Island is a good area for fishing. The hot bites include Bluefish between the months of December and April, Pompano between the months of January and March, Snook from June to October, and Tarpon in August and September. Besides these species, you never know what other species you might get a hold of.
