A schooling fish that's strong but not particularly aggressive, the Black Drum is quite content eating oyster beds, or whatever it comes across that it doesn't have to chase down. The ideal way to target black drum is around the oyster beds with crustaceans. Commonly found in our area up to 30 lbs., with the Florida record weighing in at 96 lbs.
